The suite was not truly a suite. it was a small, long room in bad repair, lacking basic amenities like enough towels for the number of guests I paid for.

I enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Express in Delano. The spacious room featured a fridge and microwave, perfect for snacks after exploring. Breakfast offered a nice variety, even if the pancake quality felt like cardboard. I experienced a minor issue with the AC noise, but it didn’t overshadow the overall comfort.

The bed felt surprisingly comfortable, even better than expected at a Holiday Inn. I loved having a fridge and microwave in the room, which made it easy to store snacks and heat leftovers. The complimentary breakfast had a solid selection, including cereal, eggs, and pancakes, though it was disappointing that there were no yogurt cups available. One major letdown was the noisy wall AC unit that made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Another issue popped up when I inadvertently received a smokers’ room. The smell hit as soon as I walked in, and the front desk's solution of just spraying air freshener didn’t cut it. However, after I reported it, the staff quickly found me a new room that was much nicer. The new room felt clean and fresh, making my stay better overall. The cookies at the front desk in the evening were a nice touch, too. If you’re in the Delano area, this hotel could be a decent place to stay, especially if you check your room first to avoid issues.
